Since joining the firm in 2024, Philip C. Reilly has built his experience in construction, general business litigation, real estate, and land use law: positioning him as a counselor to Firm clients across subject matter areas. Mr. Reilly has been an integral team member in preparing bid protests, enforcing mechanic’s liens, and navigating disputes through mediation, arbitration, and the court system.
Mr. Reilly is a graduate of Boston University School of Law where he worked with the Student Innovations Law Clinic, advising student entrepreneurs at BU and MIT on legal issues related to corporate formation, agreements among shareholders, employment law, and business fundraising. Mr. Reilly argued in multiple moot court competitions, including the Homer Albers Prize Moot Court Competition and the Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. Mr. Reilly served as Managing Editor of the Boston University School of Law Journal of Science and Technology Law. Before joining Strang, Scott & Giroux, Mr. Reilly clerked with a civil litigation law firm in Boston and with the in-house counsel’s office at an international cargo airline.
Mr. Reilly is originally from Connecticut. He received his undergraduate degree in history and political science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Before his undergraduate studies, Mr. Reilly spent a year living aboard a sailboat in the Bahamas. He enjoys hiking throughout New England and has completed a 150-mile section of the Long Trail in Vermont. In his free time, Mr. Reilly can often be found running along the Charles River paths.
